Baptist Family and Children’s Services was founded in 1920 by a group of Baptist laypeople led by Mr. Willoughby McCormick. Earlier in his life, Mr. McCormick founded the spice company that bears his name and is a large corporate presence in the Baltimore area.

For 88 years, Baptist Family & Children’s Services has offered help and hope to families in distress. Each year we touch the lives of thousands of individuals, through effective and innovative programs focused on responding to the everyday crises that threaten the health of families everywhere.
